Project 6

This is my project 6. For this project we needed to make our own synths on sytrus. One saw wave and one sine wave synth. We used all different types of modifiers to make the sound what we wanted it to be. We used some FX and filters. I used a Chocolate state variable filter (SVF) for my sine wave and a High pass (HP) filter on my Saw wave. For my bass i used sytrus on Cerbera Saw. I used FPC for drums under Drum and Bass 26.

Project 5

This is my project 5 loop. This is the first project i used sytrus in. i love it! it has a lot of different (but cool) sounds to manipulate and use. i used 2 fpcs for my drums and a symsynth for my synth. i wanted to go for a smooth and gentle sound. so when Clark suggested using sytrus i looked and found just what i was looking for.

Project 4

This is my project 4 loop. In this project we had to use an X Y controller as a filter to mess with the frequencies of the sound of the music. i also used a fruity filter in my simsynth. In this loop i wanted to make this project a short but sweet one. I used a simple Fpc and a simple Slayer.

Project 3

This is my project three automation clip. I tried for a sort of 80's or 70's news bulletin. The drums are supposed to be extra to give the clip more of a song feeling. For the piano i used simsynth on BassGruffy. I tweaked it to go higher and lower. I used FPC on Drum and bass 04.

Project 1

This is my Drum loop. It was very fun to create and use all the different tools in Fl studio. I used Riffs from the hip category to come up with my snare drum. I used a layer to combine the two. I also used a standard kick and hat but altered the hat's velocity.

Project 2

This is my project 2 loop for Fl studio. I used Fl Slayer for my guitar riff. I chopped this to make the riff my own and to give a more " stand out" sound. I used a FPC for my drum riff. I chose the riff and transposed it to make it sound cool. The final product came out very nicely.
